Bunnyland was created on Christmas Eve in the year two-thousand-and-two. I was on my computer chatting to a close friend, asking her what she was up to. I still remember her telling me she was creating a website entitled "Strawberry Shortcake Land." I immediately wanted to create a site of my own about something important to me, my pet rabbits.
Shortly after, I wanted Bunnyland to become a graphic site, so I began making graphics for neopet shops consisting of banners and blogs. My html/web design skills were very basic but I kept on practicing.
Later when that phase went away, I got into pixeling and joined several BBS' and MB's.
Now I am in my final year of undergraduate studies so my time to update Bunnyland is very limited. (This is my first real update in 3 years!) Apart from my majors (Business Economics and Psychology) I have learned a lot throughout these past three years in college growing my art, design, and photography skills. I hope to add a bit of my portfolio onto Bunnyland eventually.
Last, but not least, Bunnyland was created not for myself, but for my rabbits. Some have gone while a few others are still here going into their 7th/8th year of life now. I don't know how much longer they will live but I know the memories will always be back at home. My bunnies and bunnyland have definitely been a big part of my pre-teen to teenage years!
